To Louise’s family, Sending you all heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mother and grandmother. Louise and Roy were such an integral part of Carol United during all the years we attended there. The last time we saw her was at Roy’s funeral, and it was so evident there how beloved she was by the whole family. She was a wonderful woman. I was welcomed into her home many times as a child when visiting, feeding me when the occasion arose. She will be missed. Best wishes to Robert, Ruth, Lorna, Lynette and the rest of the family.

Ruth, Lorna, Lynette, Robert and family. As I sit here and ponder on my memories of Aunt Louise, I think of how she was always so gentle, thoughtful!, kind hearted and how much she loved her family! I wish I could, if just for a second, see the joy she felt when she was reunited with Uncle Roy, Aunt Ruth, mom & mom and dad Vokey. Aunt Louise, you were truly loved and you will be missed. Ruth, Lynette, Lorna, Robert and families, I remember your mom first when I started attending Carol United, back in the mid- seventies. Both your parents were at every pot luck, every church supper or function. Your mom always made cakes for our annual auction. Always so good, and no one made baked beans like her.. At every baked bean supper, I would always say "I want the ones that Louise brought here". Wish I had gotten her recipe. Whenever I cooked a big supper, I always thought of them. I know you will all miss your mom terribly, but take consolation in the fact, that is where she wants to be, reunited with your dad. Deepest sympathy, Shirley Murphy

Louise was the loveliest person I knew. She welcomed me into the family and treated me like another daughter. She was a loving mother and a dedicated grandmother. Although we only got to visit her once a year, our children have such fond memories of those visits and a special bond with their grandma. We will cherish those memories forever.
