Obituary of Annie Miriam Turnbull

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annie Miriam Turnbull announce her passing on June 10 2023, at the Labrador West Health Center at the age of 79. Annie was born to Charles and Clarice Burden on September 26th 1943. She leaves to mourn her most treasured people in the world; children Brian, Barry (Daisy), Betty (Sam), Baxter (Velma), and Berdina (David); grandchildren Sheldon (Holly), Najala, Johnathon (Jalyssa), Aaron, Mitchell (Kassidy), Trisha (Ronnie), Chelsea, Jillian (Matthew), Megan (Nicco), and Darian; great-grandchildren Lily, Daxton, Melina, Lacy, Hudson, and Aria; sisters Violet (Simon), Laura (Bill), Effie (Tony), Evelyn, and Ruth (Shad); brothers Oral, and Perry (Paula). Annie was predeceased by her husband John; son Boyd; sisters Ina, and Vera. Our mom loved her family fiercely; her children and grand children were her world!! Mom worked very hard raising six her children, she took much pride in having and doing her best at everything she did for them. While taking care of her family and home, she also worked in the fishery with dad, during summer. In her younger years, mom also loved skidooing, ice fishing and of course the boil-ups with her friends and family!! Mom was also blessed with a beautiful voice for singing and was often heard singing Gods praises in her loudest voice at home and at church!! We would like to send a special thank you tall the staff and nurses of the Labrador West Long Term Care. Family and friends may visit from 7:00-9:00 pm on Sunday June 11th at Temple's Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2pm in Charlottetown, Labrador, on Thuraday, June 15th at the Calvary Temple Pentacostal Church. Interment to follow.
