Obituary of Joan Marie James

It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Joan Kavanagh James announce her passing on August 16, 2023 at the age of 73. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her husband of 50 years Stan, children Tammy and Todd, and granddaughter Emerson. Brothers Clarence and Brian, and sister Ann (Don) Peddle. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and cousins. Joan was predeceased by her parents James and Sarah Kavanagh, and brothers Gordon and Jimmy. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the exceptional care she received from Dr. Hans and the team of nurses in Longterm Care at the Labrador West Grenfell Health Centre. By caring for our mother you in turn were caring for our entire family and words cannot express how truly grateful we are. Cremation has taken place and the family will be having a private service at a later time.
