My early years in Labrador City were spent in the wonderful orbit of the Andrew's (and Vincent) families. I was introduced to Marion & Wes by Marion's sister Nola & her husband Guy (Saunders) when they returned to Labrador in the early 80's. It was sad to read Marion's obit on the 30th anniversary of Nola's passing, but I am thankful that they are together again in the great by & by. RIP, Marion, Nola & Orv. Deepest condolences to Wes, Quinton and families.

Wes, Quentin & Tracey, Dominique, Jodi & family:
Herb and I were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our dear friend Marion. I have so many wonderful memories of this amazing lady which I will cherish in my heart forever. She was indeed beautiful; inside and out.
While I have so many memories of our times together, long chats, etc, that I could share, the one that is the most vivid in my mind truly shows her incredibly kind nature.
A few years ago, when Purity Factories was closed due to a worker strike, Marion and I were having a lovely chat. As we were talking, she asked, ‘What are you doing today?” I replied, “I’m trying to find hard bread. I can’t find any anywhere in the city. I’ve looked everywhere!” Marion quickly replied, “Got to go now. Talk to you another time.” Imagine my surprise when three days later a postal worker knocked on my door with a CASE of hard bread sent EXPRESS POST from Labrador City. Apparently Marion had told Quentin to pick up a case for me. She wanted to ensure that I had hard bread for myself and more, so that I could share with my friends and family. What an absolutely kind lady. Truly, this beautiful friend will never be forgotten but will always remain in my heart.
Wes, Quentin & Tracey, Dominique and Jodi, we pray that you will be comforted by the incredible legacy of love that Marion imprinted on each of your lives. She has indeed left footprints on your hearts which will never be forgotten.
Keeping you close in thought and prayer.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Herb & Linda Pinsent

It’s terribly sad to hear that Marion has passed. She leaves a wonderful meaningful impact on my life. She loved her family and was proud of you all. She was a special lady. Christmas was special with her in it. Decorating the tree and wrapping the gifts she chose with such delight. These are the thoughts I will treasure. Hugs to Dominique who was her joy. Thoughts and prayers with Wes, Quentin, Tracey and her family and friends. Rest easy Marion ♥️
