Obituary of Selby William Stuckless

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Selby Stuckless (formerly from Deer Lake, Nl) announce his passing on November. 17, 2023 at the age of 73 at the Labrador West Health Centre. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are his mom Sarah (Sadie) Stuckless; children Troy Stuckless(April), Shawna Stuckless(Tony), Sara Clarke(Dane), Melisa Bennett, Pauline Blundon(Morgan) Doreen Cooper(Jonathan), Marcie Brown(Tony), Karen Cooper(Lorn), Barb Hicks(Roy), Frankie Young(Jason) Arelene Cooper, Debbie Cooper, Lyndon Cooper, his sister Linda Hann and family friend Tony Rebelo. His beautiful grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and cousins. Selby was predeceased by his dad Mark Stuckless; his biological parents William and Ina Barrett; his step son Dave Cooper and his beautiful Wife Sandra Cooper. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the exceptional care he received from the team of nurses in Longterm Care at the Labrador West Health Centre. By caring for Selby, you in turn were caring for our family and words cannot express how truly grateful we are. Special mention to Donna O’Leary, He truly thought you were an angel. To Stephen Hunter with all your help in getting Selby transitioned into Long term care, to Matt Sullivan/Trust Transit for giving your time to give him his last ride around town. And to the cafeteria crew and Janitorial staff, you guys are more than just food and cleaning, you became Selby’s friends and family and we adore you. Thank you for all your loving chats and “Mandarins”. Thank you to Vanessa and Temple's Funeral Home for your support and guidance going through this process. Selby requested no service, cremation will take place with plans later in the future to sprinkle his ashes along with his Wife’s ashes in the Ashuanipi River where he loved to be. Much love xo
