Cindy was born December 11, 1965. Cindy grew up in Sandy Cove on the “Great Northern Peninsula”, a place in which she loved dearly. Cindy then went to pursue her teaching degree in St. John’s and moved to Labrador City in 1988 with Glen. Cindy married Glen in 1990 and later had three children Jennifer (deceased), Jordan, and Jeffery, and two grandchildren Easton and Nixon which was her whole world and all she talked about. Cindy was the glue that held everyone together, putting others needs before any of her own. She worked at A.P Low Primary School for numerous years, a place in which she spent countless hours teaching students and developing lifelong relationships with her co-workers. Later in her life, Cindy and her Husband Glen, built their dream cottage back in Sandy Cove, a place that she looked forward to coming back to on her breaks from school. Cindy spent many hours in her sunporch welcoming family and friends for “a cup of tea” and being the person everyone came to for a chat or for a shoulder to lean on. An amazing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and coworker gone too soon.
Funeral service for Cindy will be held 2:00pm on Saturday, April 15 2023, at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Labrador City. Service will be live streamed from Temple's Funeral Home Facebook page.
