Obituary of Ethan Alexander Glassford
Ethan Glassford August 12 2002- February 12 2024
With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Ethan Alexander Glassford on February 12 2024. Ethan is survived and immensely missed by his loving parents Christina Glassford and Shannon Bennett, his brother Tyson; sister Katie; and brothers Dylan and Logan.
Ethan is greatly missed by his great-grandmother Marie; grandparents Gary Glassford, Thelma Bennett, Winston Hutchings, Hiram (Maureen) Bennett, Dean and Valerie Stockdale; Uncle Patrick(Julie), Uncle Michael, Aunt Colleen, Aunt Cass(Tommy), Uncle Daniel(Brittany), Uncle Timothy(Ashley), Aunt Mildred(Brian), Uncle Stephen(Sarah), Uncle Michael, Uncle Adam, Aunt Deanna(Lofty), Aunt Laura, Uncle Josh (Candace) and Uncle Joe . He will be very missed by Tori(Oliver) who was more than a cousin but a best friend, Godmother Holly(Tim) and many cousins and friends.
Ethan was predeceased by his grandmother Barbara Glassford.
Ethan was a lover of outdoors, always looking for an adventure. He was heavily involved with the cadets, a program he was immensely proud to be a part of. Few people wear their hearts on their sleeves the way that Ethan did and was known for. Ethan had a fearless zest of life, wonderful sense of humour and a contagious laugh. Every challenge Ethan faced he did so without complaint and with a smile on his face.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00pm on Tuesday, February 20th 2024. Funeral service will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, February 20th 2024 at St. Paul's Anglican Church with Reverend Rowena Payne Officiating. A celebration of life will take place from 5:00-7:00pm at the Legion, special thank you to the Royal Canadian Army Cadets.
In Lieu of flowers the family would be greatly appreciative of donation made in his name to the Diabetic Association of Canada.
